Counselling  for previous traumatic childbirth experience can help expectant parents plan for the next birth-experience in a way they feel safe encountering.

Traumatic birth experiences can on many occations be prevented, when we know what to look for and how to work with it. Reducing traumatic birth experiences can often lower the wishes for elective cesarean sections/free-birthing.

This seminar will offer practical solutions on counseling and prevention. There will be case stories, excersises and tools to use in counseling and during labour.

Kamilla Groenemeijer Nielsen is a Danish obstetrician and therapist with 20 years experience of counseling couples on fear of cildbirth and helping couples and departments find the best solutions with complete respect.
